About NMSU BIP

New Mexico State University (NMSU) has conducted bridge inspections for the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) since January 1989.  The inspections are conducted in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and have helped the state of New Mexico maintain compliance with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
